Glad to hear that they will be in plentiful supply...

I just had the opportunity to pick up some in the past week, I had stockpiled a few sets of 24's and 36's for indoor and outdoor racing. Can't seem to find anything that works better...

I realize that parking lot surfaces vary from one to the other, but for a medium bite relatively clean surface which Sorex do should I try? My LHS has 36, and 28 currently. Also, can I continue with the insert that I usually use (Yokomo medium shaped).

Smile 40R

I just tried the 40R on my Impluse and it seems pretty good, a bit less traction than the 36R, but it doesn't show much wear after a 40 minutes main.

Sorex tires 28,32 and 36r will hope to be in by Friday. They were sent out yesterday. 20 and 24r in about 2 weeks or less. We do have about 24 24r in stock now.

Thank you for your patience. Billy

Geppitto,
I hope I spelled that right. We have had some feed back from back east areas saying the track is 125-135 deg track temps and the drivers are telling me the 36r are not hooking up. I have ask them to try go down on our Sorex number like a 32r or 28r and it seem to work fine. We really never did our testing in the back east state. So what I beleive is happening, is the reason that the 36r or what ever tire that you would normally run to track temp and our tire temp is there is so much humity that the tire is have mosture build up. So I think everybody that races outside east state shoulg try running 1 sometimes 2 compounds lower than norm. Hope this helps.
Good luck and thanks for trying our Sorex tires. Billy

I had no idea that Sorex was hard to come by. I have managed to stock up on them via StormerHobbies.

I have about 8 of the 36R's if anyone needs any. Here in the Northwest our track temp has dropped. Plus our outdoor season is almost done. Let me know if you want them. [email protected]

Sorex tires are in L.A. custom now, any time to me. It only takes 1 day to get shipped to me,. 36,32, and 28 in custom. 24R and 20R are leaving Japan on Wed.
