Multiplex Digi....some of the best built and TRUE metal gearing. Easy to get through Hitec dealers now.

Default Servo poll

Guys;

Got an Idea for the next poll.

How about a poll for Servo failures by brand.

I know some brands are more susceptible than others to failure and within the same brand certain models have higher failure rates.
Since it's too complicated to poll individual model servos. A chart could be compiled by brand and failure rates using the figures from the poll.

What do you Guys think?

I use the Hitec 625MG...I also have to adjust the trim almost every time I hit the track. I've had one of them fail on me but I was able to get another one real cheap right away. In other words...I'll be stuck with the f*er for a long time until I can afford a better one....I hate Hitec servos

I had a JR Standard Race Servo fail in my TC3 in about 4 runs.....maybe setting the endpoints really does help Then agian I had one in an RTR last for like 8 months (still working like new) I was pretty brutal on that RTR too.

its nearly impossible to fault the ko2143

the futaba 9450 / 51 is another ledgend servo

i have a 9550 and its very good but not as versitile as the ones above!

the multiplex servos are a 'different' size (slightly smaller with the wings higher up the case) to asian ones but plenty strong...

digital will center better everytime!

Hey guys,

What is HSR, Advanced HSR? Are these KO-only technologies?

What is Fast Frame Rate? Is this exclusively an Airtronics technology?

I have heard of some servos (Airtronics 94758z) with FFRate being able to work with helicopter gyros that run at 300hz.

Will the KO HSR-type servos be able to work on Helo gyro's too?

I found the 9550 coupled with the Futaba HRS to be very accurate, speed perfectly acceptable. Never had a problem with lack of speed. I normally use 2143, 2343 for EP. The 9550 is slower but still very good. Do not be fooled by specs.....

9550 is also very good for throttle servo on GP cars....I have had no problems on my V1RR Evo, although running a front one way means using very little brakes......
