Many ppl run the QC2 over here,... but only one using GT7,... I dunno 'bout reliability,... but performance wise,.... my KO VFS2000 is more efficient than both,... never introduce it to a glass of water though

Hi Chazz
I reed in british forum (donīt remember the name) that you race a lot in wet conditions and some Q2īs and Nosram Evolutionīs have burned to.
The race that I burned mine, the Spanish Cup in Lleida, last March, a lot of Q2īs and Nosram Evolutionīs had burned. I counted 11 (eleven) on saturday, the pratice day. But on sunday, race day, I could not continued counting, as I was tying to drie mine.
However I eard that you race with waterproof M.troniks Cirrus Competition, Vega V3 sport and MRT Pro and Sport escīs. Could you comment or tell us something about these british escīs??
Thanks

M.troniks Cirrus nothing special with the on-resistance etc.
Vega V3 not 100% waterproof, like Q2/Evo no good for wet.
MRT Pro and Sport both great on-resistance (Sport is same as GT7 and Pro is 20% lower) BOTH are 100% waterproof never heard of one have problem with waterproof.
the website link is: http://www.team-mrt.com
US ESC
GT7 problems I heard had to change seethru case for solid orange to hide internal mods!
German ESC
Q2(& Evo) No good for wet always have problems I hear about.

This is sort of off topic, but after reading this thread something occured to me. What is the point of having a waterproof ESC? So you can run it in the rain? ok thats fine in theory, but what about the reciever? Is there such a thing as a waterproof reciever? Maybe Im just ignorant (strong posibility
) but i've never heard of one. So even if your ESC was waterproof, wouldnt the reciever still be damaged by the water and therefore defeat the purpose of having the one waterproof componant?
