Hey Guy's i got a chance to pick me up a set of those Speedmerchant Linear spring's . I've tried them on my Rev 5 and i was very impressed with how the car handles!!!

Overall the car feel's very stable and easy to drive it transitions very well throught the turn's with no steering lost at all !!!

These side linear spring's will work well on other cars as well to and with the same stable easy to drive feeling. I have a Rev 5 setup that im have been running here's it is below.

Front Lilac 1.60" 3.2mm ride height
1.5* camber 4* caster
Green Tube Spooge on King pins
.20 spring

Center:
35w oil Blue associated spring
Battery Forward
Green Tube Spooge in dampner tubes
Side springs .18 linear springs

Rear:
Orange 1.68" 3.5 ride height
Protoform speed 12 and AMR 12 bodies

This setup here will work on all conditions :-)

Gotta give prop's Bruce these are a prefect match for the lipo batteries.

Here's some more info on them:

Can you buy replacement springs? Would hate to pay $15 every time I lose a spring.

yes you can buy just the replacement springs and different ones if you want i ran one of the prototype rev 6's last year with the new side spring and it was hands down way better then my old car and that car was good so if you give me easier to drive and still just as fast its game on

The springs will be available, they are not yet on the site. You can expect that the prices will not be too far off from the last version springs.

What are the grip levels? What sauce? How much front sauce?

How much droop? What is the up travel?

Which body?

Less caster will help it cut more on turn in.

Harder side springs should make it carve harder. Lighter side springs will carve less.

Traction is high, where using jack the gripper, I'm doping inside quarter of front tire and full rears.
I'm not running any droop , and Ive tried 3 different bodies (black art r8, parma speed 8, and protoform speed 12b) the protoform body doesn't want to come around as bad as the others.I'm going to the track tonight so ill try messing with caster and see what happens. I don't have any different speed merchant side springs but i have some oval car front spring that look similar so ill try those for different stiffnesses.
