I am new to 12th scale...I have the rev5 with the "old skool" front...I was about to upgrade to the formula front end...shhould I wait for the rev6 front? Or do I need the current front end to upgrade to the rev6 formula front?

bruce would have to answer that one, but I am not so sure that he will make the new rev6 front end that will bolt onto a rev5 chassis. just one reason is that there will be 2 less holes on the rev 5 chassis to bolt the front end to. I think he will have an upgrade which will include the carbon pieces. if you do not have the links, balls, hardware from the formula front end, then you will need those as well.

Yes, you can bolt the new Formula 2 onto everything from a Rev 2 thru 5L. You just use the 4 outside holes...everything lines up perfect, and is backwards compatible.

Thanks Yang.

All cars (Rev.6, WGT2, and 235) and parts will be available on-line by mid-May.

Bruce..............if a guy were looking at getting a new 1/12 scale car, what would be the difference between the Rev6 and the others like 12R5.1, the X-ray X12, Serpent S120, CRC, BMI, etc.? They all look very similar with the side links except for the BMI, but I'm sure there are some differences besides the front ends.

I won a new 12R5 last weekend and debating whether to keep it, trade for an X-ray or sell it and get something different.

Yes, there will be a conversion for 5L owners. Basically it will be all the Carbon Fiber, but pretty much everything else will transfer over. Should save a lot of coin.

I put up some better pictures on the website.....I'll get the full intro page done this weekend.

Have a great day.-Bruce
