For anyone looking for the aluminum steering blocks, I now have some available on the website. Be sure to chose the correct one for the axles that you have, either the original threaded or the new splined axles.

and for everyone who doesn't know... the address is: http://teamtamale.com/

this is the one hop-up that is really recommended for the Rev 5/6 series of cars. the stock parts work well, but wear out and get sloppy. you can drill the plastic steering blocks and use a set screw, but they are not as dialed as Larry's parts!!

its good to see Larry posting on the internet. i didn't know if we survived pitting next to me at IIC last month

Steering blocks haven't changed. Larry refers to the difference in axles Andrew. Screw in vs. press in. One set must be prethreaded to accept the threaded style axles.

let me check with larry. I thought he told me that he made the rev6 block just a slight bit wider to accommodate the changes in the formula2 top plate.

I wish I saw this earlier. The rear bodymounts have been relocated farther back. I believe the dimension is 0.5".

The steering block dimensions are the same on both versions. Bruce
made a small mod to the new formula front end so the steering blocks could be the same.

Default Front bumper

Hi

Is anyone using a front foam bumper on the REV 6?

If so which one fits?

BMI-CRC-AE

Thanks Greg G

Default Foam Bumper

I use the parma foam bumper. Fits perfect on the body post, you only need to cut off a strip of foam so it fit down the space between body post and the front carbon plate.

I think most of the drivers run an associated 12R5 bumper.
You can buy online at http://www.teamspeedmerchant.com.
