how about the;

MAMAMIYA EVOLUTION III because everytime you bust a gear you're like, "mamamiya! otraves! carajo!"

i'll probably jump ship from pro4 to tc4 when assos come out with the team "the model with all the bugs fixed and all the nice blue stuff" kit.

Don't expect the first TC4 to have all the bugs worked out!! It took them a few cracks to get the TC3 right (remeber the steel diffs, non-droop screw arms, the Losi hubs the team drivers use, etc.).

I wonder if the new TC4 will be anything like the Yokomo CGM? It looks like Yok took everything good about the TC3 and Fixed all the weak spots people were having problems with, should be interesting. And yes I do think Associated is working on a new TC, they denied the B4, then the T4. I'd think by the end of the year or early next year we'll see a new TC.

They probably have something in the works.

I wonder though why they don't go to a graphite plate base like the other manufacturers are using, same about Losi.

If you can't wait, the BMI chassis conversion works REALLY well. Very happy with it.

I thought The Cuda was a wanna-be Evo

And I thought the TB-01/TB Evolution came out BEFORE the TC3...can anyone confirm/shoot this down. Either way, They were released around the same time

Hobbipro: I said that about a month ago in a discussion at my not-so-local carpet track about Yokomo/Associated.....Since the damn companies are close they probably share R & D and Yokomo just took the opportunity to make the next Associated car before Associated did it themselfs....I'm guessing the TC4 will just be a Yokomo MR-4TC SD w/ all the fixes and a one-way. It seems all the new cars have %$^&ing one-ways in them, it should be an option whether you want one in the kit or a diff instead.

Actually its
Tamiya: Tampon (actually Mama-miya is a good one when you find out how much its gonna cost to fix the damn thing)
Yokomo: Brokomo, Jokomo, Locomo
Team Losi: Team Los-er Team Slow-si
Associated: ?

Well I'm running my TC3 until the TC4 hits the shelves. I've got parts to last me at least a year (maybe two)

I like the idea of stealth diffs with the battery pack underneath the shaft. Anyone have pics of such a setup? Maybe one of the existing cars of today has it. I haven't seen one at my local track yet. But I haven't spent a whole lot of time looking at the new cars either.

Still like the TC3 even though it's a bit old. I like the layout. I just got back into this hobby from a 15 year hiatus. And I love it even more now. It's a great pass time. And really addictive.

Eric.

C'mon guys, theres only so many ways to build a shaft car...actually only 2 -batts on the left or batts on the right You dont make fun of 1:1 (real) cars because all the rwd's have the driveshaft down the center do you? Or because all the fwd's have the engine mounted sideways? The difference is in the details, suspension, equipment etc...

Is there a site that has some of the rc news on it like rumours and such? I've been looking around and haven't found anything of quality.

Eric.
