I was talking about the LRP SR, the other version of the V7.1 but it operates at a lower freqency. And SR doesn't stand for Super Rooster, since I was talking about an LRP esc, and that is a Novak.

I hate my 7.1!!

It was a dud when i bought it, sent it back and lrp gave me another one (great customer service btw). BUt i still dont like it too much, also its quite big. The gt7 is very smooth, but not too punchy, i have blown a few up.

Yep, SR stands for Stock Racing. It's optimized for stock motors. http://www.lrp-electronic.de/
