Default tires

I have several sets of Takeoff WSB tires that I bought cheap when a hobbyshop closed.
What are these tires good for.
I tried a set and they don't seem to hook up very well.
Colud I do somerhing like play with camber settings or soak them in paragon?
They are a bit wider than the other tires I have, ie Sorex,HPI.
