Same Same, just choose the one that matches your chassis better.

However its strange that the Nosram version is always like 15% more expensive

Sorry to break your dream, but they're exactly the same.

Actually that's only in the UK Luke, on the European continent LRP is the less expensive one. In my opinion mostly due to the distributors in Europe.

Hi Rick thanks for the info. Would you know why Nosram is more expensive? Also why they decided to have two brand names (or companies?) for exactly the same product? Thanks.

I am not 100% sure about this, but it's what I've heard a lot in the past. Nosram used to be a seperate company a long time ago (wow I start like a Star Wars movie) which was mainly branded in the US. LRP bought the company and since the brandname of Nosram was still very solid, they never changed it. (Like Daewoo and Chevrolet) And now it still comes in handy for people who like a red speedo more than a blue one.

And why Nosram is more expensive (in Europe)..I have no idea, maybe it has something to do with the distributors.

That is interesting, it is my experience that Nosram is a bit cheaper in Europe than LRP...

Thanks Rick. Would you know if there is a part to part equivalent of speedos? For example I have a Nosram Stock Spec. Is there an exact equivalent for LRP or are speedos not exactly the same?

The products are the same. Nosram was started in England by (I think first name) Nick Marson. It is his name spelled backwards. He gained a good reputation, and the company was eventually sold to LRP in Germany.

Products are exactly the same.

LRP Sphere = Nosram Matrix
LRP SXX = Nosram Pearl
LRP SXX Stock Spec = Nosram Pearl Spec
LRP Vector (motors) = Nosram Pure Evolution
Etc.

I wanted to know for sure and checked it, it indeed was Nick Marson from Worcester, UK.

In 2000 ownership changed to LRP.

BTW, Nosram.com has got a new lay out. It now is a black/red version of the LRP.CC website.
