Default Pro Match Smart Trays

Has anyone used these before? I just got a good deal on a pair of them but I don't really know anything about them. The pro match site is less than helpful. Does anyone know what their discharge rate is? Auto cutoff voltage? What the little red LEDs mean? Any other information that a person with their first ever discharge tray should know?

These are more equalizing trays than discharge tray, your packs should be down to 5.4 volts before traying on the promatch trays. If the red led is lit, continue to adjust the pack and set screws until only the green leds are lit. On ni-cads, leave the packs on until all lights are out, on ni-mah, I leave em in around 20-30 minutes and on race day and then charge them, it seems to make them more consistent packs and a lil more punch.
Hope that helps!

Helped alot, thanks! I just used it on one of my older GP3300 packs that was maxing out at around 2800mah and it charged up to 3150, so I guess they're working good. I'll see tomorrow if punch is improved, I hope so.... cause you can never have too much punch!

No problem, good luck!! if they are coming off that low, you may want to leave themon a lillte longer then 30 minutes though, most of my 3300's still carry over 3500mah charges, but then again, the trays are always used since the cells were new.

You can leve your 3300s on till ALL the lights go out. It will equalize your packs so they take a more consistant charge and will dis charge more consistant. Amp draw can't be 1 or so amps, but cut off voltage is near .9 even when the lights are all out.

Great tray, I have one and wish I had more.

Email sent, talk about customer service!

I did another one of my Fukuyama's (on a pro match tray ) and it went from charging right around 3000 all the way to 3650 after a single traying! WOW! If it bumps up punch accordingly I'm going to be VERY happy, since I run stock class the extra run time isn't too important, but it can't hurt....
