so the big question is WHICH DIRECTION WILL ONROAD RUN??????? seeing as how you are a pure old school carpet racer.

also how will you fit bar-time into your busy schedule? lol

Road guys will run Clock-Wise......so will the Oval so they don't mess OUR grove up....

To accommodate the Bar time I think there will be a special class where it is required to chug till the marshall rights the car

Congrats on finally making the official announcement! Everyone knows how passionate you are about this race and the potential you have to make it better. As always, I'll do whatever I can to support you.

The chances of that happening are extremely unlikely, but I will be helping Ian do some things that other races should be (technology, trying to secure corporate sponsorships, etc.). If he fails, I have evidence of him in a precarious situation (worse than the luggage cart) that will displayed for all to see.

Quit postin' on the Intar-web and get back to shovelin'. Filo's never gonna be able to afford Pulfer unless you get that track finished!

Hmm, the 'Freshmaker' may have to make a return this year.

Our local track MSI raceway in the Detroit area runs both oval and roadcross in the same night. Oval runs counter and roadcoarse runs clockwise. We typically get anywhere from 50 to 80 entries on Wed night.

From a traction standpoint it is really not that bad. We initially ran roadcoarse in reverse and people definetly didn't care for it.

I like the oval idea. Should give the entrie fees a much needed shot in the arm.

My 2 cents

PS can we make it a 1/12 scale only race again?

It'd be great to see you back this year Johnny Socko!!!

Jeremy: We'll be running "backwards" the way they do at the 'Birds. A potentially large turnout equates to a TON of laps on the track, and the carpet can take a beating. I just want to make sure the track holds up well for everyone. You get me a petition (that legally binds the signees as entries) with 400 signatures on it, and we'll go 12th scale only again
