You have to use the Photn internal drive train..
Thats the trick right there. And that was my original understanding that the car was designed as a conversion for the Photon, which was Josh's project at the time, and the Tamiya suspension just happened to fit. Hmmmm. It seems like a small array of custom bulkheads and center pulleys and you could convert any belt driven TC from the last two generations. Well it looks like the old Serpent is stuck in its stock form for now. Maybe I can find a Photon on ebay.

I was just getting ready to order the Evo kit when I noticed people talking about a new chassis and steering system.

My question is, will there be a new updated Evo kit with the new steering and chassis or do I need to buy the Evo kit and get a new chassis and steering assembly when it comes out?

Here is the list you can use, you only have to get the photon parts to build the main chassis and pivot blocks, then you can use your Serpent arms, shocks and etc, just make sure that your CVD ends fit in the TOP diff, or that you can fit the TOP/tamiya cvd's in your hubs.

Best regards,
James

I have my local hobby shop trying to get the evolution for me. Having a hard time getting an answer though.

The car does look hot for sure!

I have an evo setup and a spare chassis that i'm looking to get rid of. Shoot me a pm if you're interested. I have to say Josh's car looked good at the Halloween classic.

I would love to buy it from you but I don't have paypal anymore so there is no way to get the money to you. This is the reason I have my hobby shop buying it , so I can use my credit card.

Thanks for the offer though.
