Josh mentioned before that they don't fit due the arms having sweep in them.

With the # of xrays out there, I think it would be a good sales decision to make a conversion

Really like the look and reviews of it so far. I am running the standard Photon at the moment but was hoping to build the Photon Evo from spares I all ready had and just purchase the evo chassis kit.

My question is does anybody have a list of the Top parts that are needed to complete the build forgetting Motor and electrics obviously.

Many thanks in advance

I think there is a list somewhere, I recall Josh mentioning someone making a list of parts needed, but it would be easier to just list which parts you don't need (bulkheads, motor mount, bottom chassis, top deck, wings, rear belt)

There are a few other optional parts like camber link plates, bumper, shock towers, etc. that you can buy the CEFX version of, then you wouldn't need those Photon parts either.

Here's the doc for converting both Photon and Tamiya to the EVO:

hi all, i really want one of these but am unsure of which way to go is the best. If i went the tamiya route, which is the best one to convert from, is there any advantage of converting a 416x over a worlds edition. Also, would any photon parts be required to complete the build?

thanks, john

Top photon parts a bit stronger than tamiya parts and yes you need many photon parts to complete this kit such as diff, spool, wishbones, rear uprights ,c hubs, belts (not sure),pivot pins etc. Etc.
I hope that helps

A fellow UK CEFX owner told me there is a distributor in Germany, he has all the parts but no full upgrade kits at the moment. This is worth looking into, literally.

I was absolutely shafted by UK customs on my kit

Cheers for that. I have emailed the German distributer to check if they post to the uk.
