Do I know U? ..or just looked me up .

Well after a year. The dish/spoke type wheel rule is still not much of a issue.
I do worry about the chassises on the market and the way manufacturers are going. I'm an idealist but can go to extremist as well in terms of tuning (you've allready seen that by now..). TOP, 3Racing, Huge,.. all have gone with over the top chassis materials. The FF Sakura is listed more expensive as the 4WD 1. If sanctioning bodies don't come out with some rules FWD will kill itself. There is not 1 real standard spec class with cheap materials and this should be FWD.
It would be nice to have something like in real car racing (global engine or something like that). Those high spec cars are only sold to racers and will never see the light as a toy car. If true plastic spec cars would be made that also can only be raced like this. Manufacturers could sell these as toy cars to and make way more money then those high spec cars.

Agreed!
Couldn't have said it any better.

And yes you can overkill bigtime, hahaha.
But all with very nice goodies. Kudos for that.

Some good friends of mine used to race with you.

Whoa, thread revival.

I used to be an a-hole about running "Modified all, mod, lets run mod MOD omg lets all strap up and run mod" But once my 3 times a year of practice and my natural ability to suck caught up with me, and smelling the toy car roses, I really want to run something as silly and fun as fwd. robk's post about Fwd running with the RCGT would be fun, similar to Continental Challenge. Just change the rules per car, they have Imprezas, Kias, GTIs, so forth. Be fun to battle and such.

This year's Super Production Cup series here in the UK will have a front-wheel-drive class.

The complete rules aren't published yet, but basically it is scale bodies and 17.5 boosted. There's few people locally with FWDs that they run against the 4WD cars from time to time, they look great and reward driving finesse.

how do the new ff03's handle compared to the ff01's? I always thought the 01 was rather fragile.
