Default Beginner Left Handed Transmitters ?

I have a 6 year old nephew that has started racing on-road and loves it; however, I can see he is struggling with the right handed remotes. So did my left handed son.

Not going to get him a high $ transmitter.
Who makes a cheap reverable transmitter (preferably 2.4ghz)?

Thanks.

I don't think there are any ! Honestly I don't think there's a budget system with reversible head on it and never seen one made specifically for lefties. You might be better off getting a good M8. At least then you could re-sell it pretty easily if things don't work out. Check out Hitec also....I think they might have one too.

+1 on the Airtronics M8 idea - you can probably find one updated with a Spektrum module and receiver at an affordable price.

One downside to consider is that the M8 has a hefty feel to it - for a 6 year old, a neck strap might help offest the transmitter's weight a bit.

A used cheap m8 or 3pk would be your best bet.

Spektrum radio's are reversible fairly easily and there are some very inexpensive also.
