For day 2 of practice I dropped in to get some more photos of 17.5, 13.5, and mod (to be uploaded later), and captured the exciting race-style final runs for each of the invitational groups.

The barriers are wood strips with expansion anchors driven into the asphalt...

Any reason why the mod classes are only running 5 minute runs, while everyone else is running 6 minute runs?

Makes for flat out racing with no concern about dumping.

As spectators, with all the excitement, we couldn't take another minute of racing anyway.

Mod/Invite racing was terrific. Several drivers brought their game today.

I think they are still running 5 minute heats/races for the Worlds.
