I forgot to mention, I already put some of the Exotek 46mm driveshafts on my car with good results. I had a small (read as huge) mishap in a high speed section and they survived the unscheduled impact really well .

I did notice a tiny bit less aggressive steering in comparison to the stock aluminum driveshafts, but that is probably due to the small amout of additional rotaional mass that comes with steel. I'd still recommend them if you are seeking a more durable front end setup.

also can you tell difference of using rear gear diff compare with stock rear ball diff and front gear diff with putty and rear gear diff with oil

Got the roche spool cups (to go with Yokomo driveshafts).
I understood they were supposed to be a direct fit onto the HB spool, however they are too small ... so don't fit.

I know people have been using them, now wondering how are they getting them to fit. Are modifications required?

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

I've been running dual gear diffs in my TCX from day one. 500k in front and rear as low as 30-80wt oil. I ran a ball diff and spool in buddies car felt the gear diffs where hands down better on the rug at least. Right now I'm trying ofna diff lock in front see how it feels tomorrow. Like the tune ability of the gear diffs.

You need the Roche spool also, the outdrive internal diameter of the Roche spool cup is the same as a tamiya spool cup.

Get the TCX Roche spool, use the cups you have and just replace the front driveshaft bones with the Yokomo ones You may aswell buy a complete spool set, as its only about $4-5 more with another set of spool cups

I'm using the Roche spool with 46mm TOP steel driveshafts. Drops straight in with no mods.

Hey guys,

How do the lowered shocktowers affect the cars handling, I know they reduce the pack in the shocks and the amount the collars are wound down but what difference will I notice when racing? (I race indoors on carpet)

I found the car frees up in the corners, rolls a little more, and has a more aggressive feel overall. They just make the car rotate harder throughout the corner.
