Hey guys, I tried searching through this thread but there is just so much info...

So my question is: I just bought a TCX and will be racing it on carpet with rubber tires, 13.5 non boosted. What essential upgrades, if any, do you recommend? It does already have steel front driveshafts as I heard the stock aluminum ones can break easily. I know this is a very generic question, but like I said I tried searching and didn't come up with much. Thanks!

you got the 'big' ones already (the steel axles)...maybe a gear diff, or aluminum knuckles/rear hubs...but other then that, the TCX is good outta the box

For reliabilty I would also add a Roche spool and HPI Pro4 front arms.

Other wise its good out of the box

for tuning
1.2mm 3 hole shock pistons
gear diff
springs

Yep on Low grip Asphalt, will be better again on High grip I think. Car is much easier to drive and therefore more consistant.

Last week I said to myself "I really hope Shin goes to another team and brings some of the cool ideas the TF6 has to them"

I really hope this happens
