Default Carbide Cutter for Foam Tires

How long should the carbide tire cutter on my Hudy tire lathe last?

Currently have about three seasons of use for 1/12 and 1/10th foams on my lathe.

I assume you have the Hudy one. It's very good. Should last a VERY long time with carpet tires. Asphalt nitro tires are a bit tougher but I still haven't worn mine out.

Unless your talking about the sawblade looking cutter that many truers come with. It doesn't last long at all.
