Default E10 Engine mount?

Hi, I'm new to this forum so I'm probably being a noob, but here goes...
For the HPI E10, I was wondering if it was worth getting the Aluminium engine mount, as I don't want to waste any money! (duh)
thanks!

Kyle, depends on what you want to do with it. If you're just playing around on your own then you may not need it. If you want to get involved with racing or drifting and you might be installing more power.....then the motor mount is a good idea. One of our club members has one he uses to drift. He tried to race it at first but it just wasn't able to take the strain. The motor mount was only his first issue. Then it was the driveshaft....then the bushings went bad. This car is built to be a basic entry to RC. Hope that helps. Hope it's helping you learn to enjoy RC cars. Spend as little on it as you can. There are much better, reasonably priced cars you could get.
