On today's market I would have to say that the Trinity Monster stock is the best motor, has a very good combination of torque and rpm.

Yes, the monster should be excellent for carpt, I have yet to run one on carpet, but know people who run them with great success.

As long as the carpet track is meduim sized or bigger you can't go wrong with the monster stock.

Cool Best stock motor

The best stock motor is the Epic mnstr stock equipped wih S I B technology. These motors are not Roar legal, it's not our
fault Roar likes to suppress motor advancement.

Default Best Stock Motor?

Guys;

For Sedan/TC racing just about any of the available Stock Motors should be adequate.

Differences in design Rpm can always be compensated for with Gearing. So what ultimately becomes the most important factor, is Power (watts).

Right now, the Monster and Binary are the most powerful Stock Motors you can buy. Properly geared they work well on any size track.

My favorite is the monster stock, then the binary, then the original p2k. The p2k2 just kinda feels flat to me, the powerband just doesn't feel right. Monster stock is wicked fast when tuned right and I'll use a binary if it's legal. I use the p2k on super tight tracks where the extra torque is needed. But any stock motor should be good if you tune it and gear it correctly. Hope this helps ya out.

the MVP when tuned with Big Jims specifications ( narrowed brushes, etc ) is a really great motor. The magnets on it also are alot stronger than the ones that trinity uses.
