just getting into onroad
 

my son and i have been racing offroad for 5 years now, he runs electric 2wd 1/10 and i run 2wd electric 1/10 and 1/8 nitro buggy. he decided he wanted to try onroad so i bought 2 - 1/10 nitro and a 1/10 electric (for him to get used to onroad with) its a hpi sprint sport 2 with a 15 turn motor with stock gearing. it seems really slow, slower than his offroad with a 17 turn. am i missing something or is it just really that much slower? :confused::confused::confused:

Possibly wrong gearing and or not a very good motor

did you calibrate the speedy too your controls??
Also some speed controls hav different profiles available or a dashpot power adjuster
refer too your manuals and check it's not wound down

The motor included with the Sprint 2 is not very powerful at all. A change of motors will wake the car up.
