Default iCharger 206B + Thuder Power advice

Have posted this thread to find out has anyone worked out how to balence Thunder power battery range with this charger??

It can out of the box support IP battery and the like however I am unable to balence my thunder power 40 or 50c with this charger the balancer adapter is wrong

Second question anyone know what AMP's you can charge these battery's without too much damage.

8 amp or 10 amp to high or a sweet spot?

Alex

Get an adapter so you can balance the battery. male XH (Align) to charge and female Thunder power tap to battery.

Charge at 1C. If the battery is a 5,000mah then charge at 5 amps.

Alex, you'll find it is against lipo safety rules to charge over 1c at the track.
What you do elsewhere is up to you. Visit the WHRC website and check the lipo rules.

Michael.

Could not agree more what a good charger,

The fact you can download updates of the internet using there custom application and flash the software like modern ESC is very cool.

Also record the charge cycle using LogViewer to monitor battery usage.

Can you post the link to the site that I can update the charger? I bought mine about 2 months ago, don't know if there's any new firmware update if available.

There current version is 313b

You can find the updater application on the CD which came with the charger - <cdrom>\upgrader

Once opened click on download and this will then prompt you to select the iCharger version.

Once downloaded the file is very small, just click update really is that easy.

If you cannot find the cd or the file, PM me will send it you.

Alex

Hi, would you be able to adjust the end voltage for Lipo balance charging, similar to the Much More Legend?
