I have a quick solution for you guys with main shaft cup problems. I was at the Norrca Nats this weekend at TFB Raceway. I didn't race my Evo IV. But I ran it a few times and ended up breaking one of my main shaft cups. Fernando didn't have any spares. But Eric Anderson did and gave one to me (Thanks Eric!! ). Anyways, that night I can up with an idea to use the spare diff joint rings that came in the kit. Just slip them over the drive cups. They fit nice and tight. You can even add a drop of superglue to them. But if you do, your main shaft main be alittle hard to take out of the cups. Here is a pic....

It's the same Eric. He's an awesome guy. I dunno if you included an extra diff gear in the package though cuz I had to give him my spare. He did run it too, in the main. But I'll let him tell ya all about it. Anyways, I'm off to bed. Getting late. Been a long 7 hour drive back home (even though I didn't drive.. hehe).

Can anyone translate this page from Tamiya?

http://www.tamiya.com/japan/info/040816.htm

It looks like a problem on 46mm shafts, but I could be wrong

Actually he stripped it out when he ran a diff up front. Some uhhh screw came loose and got caught up in the gears. He couldn't find anymore. So I gave him my spare since I was running the 415 instead.
