Hi Hard driven,

As far as Tamiya is concerned, after talking to their intl MKT manager for RC, is that the TB-EVo and TA series are the only legal cars for the TCS event.

The 414 and 415 series are not allowed for the race in any of the GT classes.

You might want to re-confirm again.

Cheers

Ahhhh, can't wait. Going to be racing soon in thailand. Don't know the rules there yet though about TCS.

I've been told that the "415" will be legal for the finals at Apeldoorn by one of the Japanese fellows (name known but won't disclose) that is in the organisation of the Euro TCS. I've also been told that the drivers of the GT1 class will recieve loose cells instead of the stick packs normaly provided, just so they can make saddle packs.
But you don't need to believe me. Just wait a couple of weeks for the rules to be send arround.

Hi,

Since we run the Supersport (GT2?) class and Masterclass (GT1?)this year in holland I can imagine that the 41x series will be allowed, because they use them in Masters overhere.

So, prepare your 414 or 415's, qualify for Euro finals and we will see eachother at Apeldoorn (my home track).

By the way, have look at http://www.amcaracing.nl/ for some first looks. High speed track, good grip, good facilities and nice surroundings.

Marc

As of this year all the ex Euro champs are allowed to compete aswell so i'm hoping that John will be there just to ad some spirit.

Regards
I said the euro finals... I excluded TA04 TRF of the list of course, but no TRF 41X or TB Evo X cars are likely to be allowed at the euro finals, unless they completely change the spirit of the race, which might indeed be the case.

I perfeclty know that in GT1 (in UK and France) any tamiya car that is or has been imported is legal, I've been using my TRf414 myself last week end. It's nothing new in the french regulations, we've always been using the TRF414 and TB Evo in the 4WD class, but we had to use the TA04 at the euro finals.

If you're right, then it's all good news .

Thanks! I wonder if the kit will come with Ti screws and turnbuckles and if it comes Hopped up, at that price it may be like the EVO 3 kit when it came out.

Lightbulb How to fasten the battery

I was just wondering how to fasten the battery in this car?

I had the TRF414, but there you have to use the stupid tape. Once you climb on the curbs, the tape broke.

Now I have the TB EVO III SE, but struggeling with the gearbox problem.

So I'm fed up, maybe I give the TRF415 or the new TB a chance.

Like it has been posted in these forum pages:

Get the new lightened center shaft. The original ones were too short
