Thanks to Scotty, Boomer, and the Crew for making this event happen! Extra special thanks to Charlie for performing the aggressive race call during practice... I think it paid off come mains day. Hope we can all do it again next year....

Wow, so after a few days to unwind, I am appreciating some of the finer points of this race. For instance, the lap spread between the 12th scale classes goes something like this for TQ times: 17.5 = 45 laps, 13.5 = 50 laps, mod = 54 laps. That seems to be a well balanced spread. After running the 17.5 no-boost, I wanted to jump off the stand and kick the car to get it moving. But then it became clear that it was all about the other little things that made the big difference, not how good you are with a esc program. Such as a perfectly prepared car, fine tuning a roll out vs motor timing and seeing how it effected fast lap and last lap, choosing the right tires so not to bind the car down, and just plain old fashioned clean driving. I stand in awe watching the mod 12 cars screaming through the course. But it was also just as rewarding to run 8 minutes flawlessly while maximizing everything possible out of very limited power.

Brilliant move of the rules Scotty!

Stay dialed my friends!

Scotty, we NEED an IIC next year and in the future. Even if I don't run carpet all year, I would still race IIC. What can we do? E-mail the sponsors and tell them how much we appreciate their sponsorship? Lose more money in the casino? Just let us know.

This was certainly the most organized race I've been to and look forward to attending future events run by Scotty and company.

Default IIC to TimeZone..............

This race set a whole new standard for excellence in carpet racing events. It was easily the best of the six IIC's I have attended...and I didn't even trophy this time.

See you next month at TimeZone II Scotty and Mark. Let's continue the streak...

Constantly evolving CRC WGT and WGT-R/T...Carpet & Asphalt...All thanks to Team CRC.

And a pair of Associated B6 buggies for turf and clay tracks.
