Default 1/12th scale 17.5 class

Need a source for small 64dp spurs in the 60s or even 50s These are not available in the Uk as we dont run this class.
Assuming rollout is 100/110mm rollout I cant get near.Plan to run 43.5mm rear tyres, biggest pinion i have is 50 and smallest spur 76 dp .
So as you can see not in the ball park. what are you guys using .

PRS makes down to a 70 Spur and up to a 70 Pinion. Pinion's are hard to find though that large. Up to 65 is pretty easy to find. I have some of those if you cant get them before then but the Hobby shop at the IIC usually has a lot of PRS stuff in stock at the race.

Thanks SPRING71.
So a great chance for anybody in that area to get some runs on the rug before the IIC.

Thanks for the heads up.

******************** HOTEL ROOM HEADS UP****************

The deadline for Hotel reservations at the discounted rate is Aug 15th. So if you have not reserved your room, Please do it asap. These rates are the best we have ever had and I want to ensure everyone gets them.

This year the room rate will be $49 on Mon-Thur and $79 Fri-Sun, which is a great deal for us. Last year there were some problems when people booked their rooms through online sites. They were put in the old section of the hotel with rooms that had not been renovated. When you book with our group code, you rooms are reserved in the new renovated tower of the hotel that have absolutely beautiful rooms with great beds, large flat screen TVís and just a wonderful room.

To book your room for the IIC call the Riviera at 1-877-535-5335 and use our group name INTERNATIONAL INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS to get the special rate.

Thanks
Scotty

LRP LRP80500 Sphere Brushless ESC

Does the Sphere Comp qualify as a limited esc?

Thanks,
Carter

PS: Scotty, I've watched and listened to you call the IIC on Liverc for the last 2 years. I'm really glad I got my ducks in a row to make it this year. Sad that my first IIC has to be my last. I'm really looking forward to you calling my F main.

So the one year I chose not to go will be the last year for the event. I made a lot of friends over the first five years of this event and am thankful for that.

Scotty, you, Boomer and the Trackside crew always run a top notch event for IIC!! I was glad to get to know you guys more over the years with helping out setting up registration and laying out stuff for it. I have never been to a more organized event ever personally and I always compared others to your standards.

It sucks about the last two years of you guys getting hit up with the thefts after the event. The one last year was really hard to take given the situation and the fact it was in a locked facility. I can only hope they leave you guys alone this year and you come home with everything you went to LV with. I loved attending the event over the years and will not forget all the memories from the race. Good Luck with this year and your last event in LV!! It will be well missed by anyone who has attended this race over the years.

Hi Jerry,

Glad you are going to join us. You can run any of them. But what most guys are running that are running Amateur, is Stock which is 17.5 Limited Profile Speed control. This is a perfect fit for guys that want to run 2 classes.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks
Scotty

I know Xray, Tamiya, TOP, Hot Bodies and more have Lipo specific cars out now with everything relocated to improve the balance of the car so it's not really like you have to add so much weight to keep the cars balanced. I know the BRCA is down to 1350g and I've heard other talk of more of Europe going to this as well. I'm also looking at my Evolution sitting here at only 1290g, perfectly balanced so of course it would be really nice not to have to strap 140g worth of weight in the car...

Looking forward to another great IIC!!

Thanks
Great! Initiative Josh

Scotty I need to now the weight limit for TC and 12 scale before I determine what classes to run

My TRF 416A is 1322 grams, we run 1350 weight limit in Norway

Alf are you planning on making the trip out to the IIC? If so that'd be great! I'd love to see your 1/12th up close and just shoot the breeze with ya.

Sedan weigh is 1400 grams. I think 12th scale is 730??? grams if like in the past. Not exactly sure on it though.
