I just got mine and mounted it on my Pro4... the diff plate and the 'Tru Spin' is a great investent. the True spin adds support to the Spur gear to run more Tru with no wobble.
next time I order...will get more for my other cars...

Yeah it will help your spur gear spin true and lessen the chance of Flexing the gear and wobble in the gear.

That's great news Ben....the HTS chassis has been a solid chassis from the get go and so far on every surface it has excelled. To all the Pro-4 owners out there this is the chassis to get if you are looking aftermarket.......its made a great car even better just by installing it. And with everything in the kit for that price its a great deal!!!!

That sounds awesome for the price. What are the advantages, except that its 3mm, of the chassis over the stock one.

Cheers,

Mossie

Mossie....There are a few nice features of the HTS chassis....and so far in testing its worked great on carpet to parking lot tracks. Some of the features are that you can use 3 center post to stiffen up the chassis or move them around to get a desired flex in the car....IE one post in the front and the rear of the chassis has more flex.....one in the rear the front has more flex....its a tuning option.....that has a great effect on the car. There is another set of holes in the rear of the car so you can move the rear roll center block further back so you can make an even greater wheel base adjustment then you can in stock form....this has been a great adjustment and Im sure everyone will see the benefits to this once they get the chassis. The Chassis is VERY ridged so it will be more responsive. Also there are locating holes for some Alum. Trans cases that are in the works and they will key everything in place. There is a guard system that will help protect your electronics in a side impact....which is a very nice touch. All in all this is a great chassis to add to your Pro-4 and you will see the benefits once you have the chassis.

I can't wait for you to come out with those XXXS towers. I had a set on my backup car and last week while at the Reedy Race I traded the car away for a BK2 and forgot to take them off. Now I NEED them for my new car!

Thanks for replying to Mossie, Kevin. I think you covered everything

Not only do you get the added tuning features which Kevin covered very well, but it actually looks different than the stock chassis and upper deck. It has it's own unique style. The upper deck is also a bit wider than the stock upper deck- it's ultra rigid!

Ben,

I ran the car this weekend on an outdoor asphalt track with rubber tires in modified and this chassis is still great. You can still feel all the adjustments that you make to the car even on rubber tires outside. That showed me that this chassis is great to have even if you race on rubber tires outside as well. If you are racing a Pro-4 on rubber tires out side dont be put off by the stiffness of the 3mm HTS chassis....its still performs very well.

If the chassis is any indication of the quality of work done by Team PRP I will be sure to order the new Losi XXXS shock towers....so count another person interested.
