rory, nothing in the works right now, but I may look into something- thanks!

chkcboy5, the pro4 backing plate will probably be around $16.00+/-. I'm hoping to have the exact price ready early this week!

what have you changed with the pro4 chassis besides thicker weave? are you gonna come out with a thousand more chassis like a compeitior or just work on perfecting one first then move on?

Wrath Actually, we may have 2 chassis' for the Pro 4. Our HTS model is 3mm thick and extremely rigid. It has a slightly different cosmetic design (see pics) and includes more wheelbase options and center post options. It also incorporates a few more options that I will not go into at this time The HTS chassis will be undergoing race testing starting this weekend on carpet w/foams. Thank you!

Do you have a rough estimate as to a release date?

RCBudda - It's not to heavy, the little rotating mass that it adds to the drivetrain is nowhere near as bad as what happens when you buzz a gear.(imho)

I don't have any numbers, but it wasn't enough to notice on the track.

And think about the big heavy RUBBER tires that you are spinning...a change in insert or rims might see a bigger advantage then a light weight backing plate.

The prototype plate is very light weight. I have not weighed the prototypes but I can check them on the scale later today after I get some sleep

The most recent pics of the plate show a solid piece, but the production will have holes in it similar to the first picture on this thread. I'll probably be able to start taking pre orders for it this Friday

Thanks guys!
Ben

Hey Kevin, what are your impressions of the upper deck so far? As you know I was concerned with it's weight. However, that thing is rock solid and afterall, it is the high traction design. But let me know- shoot me an email too.
