Which Lipo?
Hi folks,
I am fairly new to this so please be patient! I am starting back up racing after an 8 year break and wondered what would be the best Lipo battery for indoor carpet racing? What is the ideal mah? and 'C' rating? I have purchased a 2 year old Associated TC5 and have also acquired an LRP 'Sphere' ESC. Your thoughts please... |

Just pick some nice 4000 or higher amp lipo's. 2 cell and 25c or higher. |
I got my 50c / 5600mAh Fantom battery tonight. I charged it up and tested it briefly comparing it to the 40c / 3200mAh batteries I had been running in my Hyper 10sc. WOW! I could tell right away that there was more power and a much bigger punch. I was hoping that this pack would make a difference, but I wasn't prepared for how big of a difference it would make. The saying, "You get what you pay for" is true. This battery cost more than others but I believe it is worth it.
