Will there be a conversion available from the original 10R to this? Looks like it would be different enough one would be better off just buying the new car.

There will be a conversion from the wide pod 10R to the copperhead 10. The conversion will be $149.99.

Jason, I saw that you stated earlier that it should fit 2S saddle, but from the pictures I just can not figure out how? Are the cutouts for 1S lipo made actually wider to make also the 2S saddle fit? My saddle lipos are 46mm x 63mm x 23mm each and they fitted perfectly in the lipo trau for the DB10R (offcourse I had to shim the batery posts up). I guess with the weight of 2S lipo (our weight limit is 1050g) we should also use some stiffer side flexplates than the ones used with 1S lipos..?

If you shim the battery plate up you can tape a stick or saddlepack lipo in the car. It was based on a single cell lipo in mind as that really is what the majority of people run in WGT. I had to make a decision whether to make it handle better with single cell(light weight) or stick with the setup we had that worked extremely well for the 4 cell and 2 cell lipo. To do both equally well was not possible. I made the decision to go with the majority. This doesnt say that the car will not work extremely well with 2S LiPo. It will work very well. It will just need a setup change to accomodate the increase in weight.

What are the two holes on the left side of the chassis plate used for?

The rear one is for an antenna mount if you run battery across the chassis and electronics in the back. The front one is for if you run the battery down the center with electronics on the side.

How much will the 10 and the 12 cost?
I like the collar of the car.

Are the black flex bars from the same material as the old ones?
Or is it from other material.

I had a 1:10 F1 Corally.
I think that the car with a 1 cell lipo and a 17,5T motor will be a nice speed on ERCE.
I'm also thinking of buying a 1:12 and that one looks good. I looked ad the DB12RR also. I like the concept.

This car just looks good and also strong.

I like the collar. It's something different.
The only thing i don't like are the tires. I don't like foam tires.
But I think that 1:12 is a must have next winter. You see it grow an grow. Also by the club in Belgium and 1 cell lipo is here also growing.

The Copperhead 10 is $299.99 and the Copperhead 12 is $249.99. The flex plates are made from a black fiberglass and we also offer 1.5mm carbon fiber ones.
