Jason, just wondering if you could design a proper bumper mounting system (like the tc has) for the db10rr or the copperhead? i am pretty dissapointed about the bumper. I did mount a RC10L2 plastic bumper piece and a foam bumper on top of that but the screws of my front bodyposts are still pulled out and then start to dangle underneath my chassis. I am getting pretty much annoyed with it.

I am having foam bumpers made for the car and they will be available in a week or so.

I've been running 5-40 screws in my body posts on my 1/12 instead of the kit 4-40 ones. They are just slightly bigger and grip the posts much better. Been running them this way for a couple years and haven't had one pull out yet.

Here´s a link to the EFRA list of approved saddlepack lipos. This should cover all available saddlepack with dimensions.

I have been thinking to dril in some 8-32 screws like with the RC10L2. There are bodypost that still use those screws and it is really sturdy in a crash. The thread on a 4-40 are just way too small for indoor use, i threaded in a long 40 size screw but it was stil being yanked out of the bodypost.

A propper system that can withstand a crash into a barrier would be very nice instead of to DIY. As WGT are being used a lot indoors (outdoors it is not an issue as there are no bariers) i would imagine that more people have a problem with it?

Typically I use a 3mm screw for body posts as they tend to be easier to find than 5-40. They hold much better than the 4-40 screws.
