Default Hpi Super F1

I stumbled across one of these in my attic the other day. I was just wondering what the value was if i were to put it on eBay. It is just a rolling chassis with a 540 motor. Very good condition,
Thanks!

There were two versions that time. The full graphite version was about the same as a touring car now. Maybe a little less.
Most guys donīt know HPI made those cars in the past.

I also have one of these HPI F1īs laying here around.

Cool
This may sound a bit ignorant but on the parts it says HPI Japan. Perhaps these were only sold in Japan?
Yes mines is the full graphite version
What do you think about the value?

Hi,

both the Graphite and G10 F1 cars had HPI Japan on most parts. I have owned 7 so far but I ended up selling them off as F1 never really took off.

I ended up borrowing a F1 to run in the Fi races at Trackside back in the day.

Thanks

my friend recently purchased an HPI super F1 (graphite one) for around 50 usd. it was in great condition. price of used pan-cars and similar cars (like the pan car F1's) dont go for much money unfortunately. NIB should fetch a lot more, but some final selling prices may surprise you. for example some used Pro 2's still go for a good 70 to 90 dollars but i managed to pick up a NIB for about 130 shipped.

in the end though, it depends on the buyer and how much they are willing to spend.

They were available and sold here in the US. You can still find them brand new today at Sheldons Hobbies in San Jose CA. They have some left brand new that they never sold. Just call and ask. I dont know if they still have the actual car but I know they have the parts. They have older parts and cars in stock that never sold like HPI RS4 Mini. I have ordered a hard to find discontinued HPI RS 10G brand new in the box for 100.00 from them.
