i think DB3029 is the multiple piece pivot ball from the db12.

so what is the part number for the '2 point mount pivot ball' that replaces DB3029?
DB3029 is the part number. The new pivots replace the old ones and function the same. The difference is that we now press the pivot balls in for you.

Jason-
What do I need to go from a DB12R to CH12 with out buying a complete kit, can it be done?

Would it be less $$ to udate to the RR with the new FE?

Should I just call the shop?

Thanks,
E

Yesterday I had the first race with the CH12 and I can say, the car went very well... I made it into the A final and qualified 5th. All three qualifications went great and the car handeled very good! In the first final I jumped from 5th to 3th place in the first lap and everything was going okay but because of a steering mistake followed by some rubbing with another car it set me back to 7th
The second final started well and again I was able to gain some places from 5th to 2nd & 3rd but halfway down the final the car was again touched by another car and went airborne which resulted in a broken cross-brace
That lead to the fact that I couldn't drive the 3rd final.

Overall I can say that the race was very good but I did notice that the CH12 is a very aggressive cornering car and you really need those tune-up parts for the front end...
All in all I was really exited about the CH12 and the only thing you do when you get off the track is clean the car, change the tires and charge the cells and wait fot the next heat to come. There is no extra wrench-time needed between the heats, the diff stays as it is the whole day as well as the settings... Great day for me and the CH12!!!

Not a good raceday yesterday My car wasn't up to speed....wanted to 'donkey-flip' the first couple of laps then got really good for the first half of the race, then it was dumptruck city Barely squeaked into the A; a few of the guys in front of me should've been owned Even though frustration set in early....we had nothing but laughs where I was pittin'

First race after IIC yesterday with my Copperheads I think the grip level at our track has been slowly changing as with my normal tire of choice the car was a bit loose. I noticed the same thing with my old car as well but I thought it was setup back then. Even with the car being a tad loose it was very drivable and I had the lead for quite awhile before I brain farted and fell back to 3rd. Quite happy with the car but am going to have to try working with different tire choices in the next race.

yeah, i saw it flying. I was like ouch. It was a good race to watch though, seeing you fight back through the ranks.

Considering the opposition i had i was pleased with my final position in the WGT 17.5t 2s class last sunday. I had a lot of understeer with my DB10RR because of the wrong tire choice. I had pink back and purple fronts and had to apply 100% on the front and had to apply it twice on the front including almost 100% steering throw to let it turn at the speeds we were going haha. I didn't want to put other tires on cause i could not test it duing the race (at least i knew how it steered with this tire choice) But all in all quite a nice race. Next time some harder back tires will do the trick. The pinks were just too much glued to the track.
