By the way i got a second hand 12r5 and all the screws with allen key heads didn't seem to work with my metric screw drivers. Is the 12r5.1 using metric screws.

i dont know if cefx is still making 1/12th scales but back when they were i had one and i loved it. Also i would go with lipo its much cheaper in the long run....

These boosters aren't available through retail outlets, and must be ordered through this webstore. There's another booster on the market that supposedly offers more voltage built by a company called RC Dynamics ( www.rcdynamics.co.uk/ ) ; it too has to be purchased from a webstore that operates outside of the USA.

I've used the TQ cells booster all season, but decided to try a LiFe pack for the last few weeks of our indoor season. I'll report my findings after a few weeks of testing.

Also if you don't want to hassle with boosters and reciever packs for your electrics while running the 1s Lipo, get the new LRP stock spec speedo. It can do 1s lipo without the use of a laptop which the Tekin requires. The LRP also has the new aggressive profiles built-in for 13.5 and 17.5 which the Novak Havoc 1s doesn't have.
