  • Quote: Man I wish I had a better pit area. I have nothing. What I dont get is why do u need to have ur chargers and stuff out. I mean r u going to charge ur batteries at your house? run your car outside ( for people with the high end electrics ) I mean have them packed up in ur bag, so it will be easier for the packing to the track.
First thing I do when I get home from the track is unpack all my stuff again so I can go to work the next day going through my motor processes and dead shorting all my packs and just doing whatever needs to be done so I am ready to go for the next race right when I get there.
  • Last years bench
This is the bench I used last year, it has great lighting and the mag-light is great. The table is too big to transport to and from the track each year so this year I will do two smaller ones for the boy and me.

OMG! If you transported that back and forth, that would be amazing. Talk about custom pit cover to go over the normal "wood" tables. LOL

its just because i collect and hardly sell. :P im a packrat. LOL

get at least one good hi-tech charger. Millenium Pro, or Pitbull, or Integy, or LRP.. (each one are good in their own respect). You don't need as many as some of us. Some times I see 3 GFX's at the track and I cringe. I always just bring two small ones with me. Somethings always charging. ;0

Yeah, it must weigh a ton to transport two or more turbo35's, a 30+ amp ps, and all the other gear.
  • 6 months ago our daughter accidently ruined our formal dining room table so for the past 6 months I have been using the formal dining room as my pit area. Boy it was nice! The lighting, the space, the tile floor for testing! All this came to an end when my wife discovered how much I spent last month on the hobby As punishment this past weekend we had to go to the furniture shopping and she made me buy a new formal dining room table and chairs. It gets delivered tomorrow so back to the garage I go. At least it is cooling down outside now
  • My pit area during this year's Tamiya Asia Cup Finals in Singapore.

There was limited space and each driver had only half the usual table space we were accustomed to, but then, we're masters of stacking and I had to forgo pimping my other equipment like lathe etc...

Oh yes, I'm a blue whore
  • That is one nice pit set up. Much More equipment just looks cool I like the aluminum set up board, where did you get it?
  • Why are the people running like tt-01 and ta-04s? where are the tb-02s, ta-05s? nice Ta-04 by the way. HAHA so much bling to it!!!

Thats a Tamiya TRF setup board. You can prob get it at your LHS that stocks Tamiya or just order it online.

Well this is the Tamiya Asia Cup Finals. You can only run TA04s and TA05s in GT Class. The other 2 cars in the pic are the TT01 from Stock Class and the DF02 buggy from the Buggy Class. There was also an expert class for TB Evos and TRF 414/415s too.

In my team of 5 GT class entrants, 2 were using TA05s, me and another two guys were using TA04s.

Yeah, thats my blu blinged out TA04 project. I have retired it but if I dont get a TA05 before next year's local series qualifications, I might take the TA04 off the shelf for one more year.
  • Yeah, I have a Ta-04, it doesnt have like the blue hex nuts, but everything else looks like mine. + a few not tamiya op parts. Mine is very BLNGY too. The turnbuckes are sweet, the blue ones!! I might be getting a tamiya USA version lower carbon chassis. the batteres fit side by side in sets of 3. Like the Xray. I think this would even out the batteries. Can you only use tamiya stick packs or something???
  • Here's my pit space during the winter season. This photo was taken last winter season. We do alot of mini-z racing and carpet 1/10th scale racing during the cold season.

That is very sweet! Is that your garage? I have looked at renting something I could lay my own test track in and for my own pit garage as my wife keeps insisting we park our cars in the garage. Does she not know the sacrifice it takes to reach the triple A main?!?
