Good steering servo
 

I am looking for a good steering servo. I tried to get the jr z8450 but its discontinued. What other servo has the same speed and torque. Or better.

KoPropo PDS2143FET is the BEST steering servo ever imo

I actually stubled across using an Airtronics 94358.

If you take a look at the numbers they are pretty mind blowing on the torque end for a non-digital/non-Fet servo. On the track it has never let go in the corners. If you use a direct plastic horn you probably will shear it, instead I ended up using a HeavyDuty Kimbrough servo saver. Not a bad servo for around $100.

bro get the s9451. depends also where will you use it in 1/10,1/8 on road or off-road.

Yea I got that 9451 in my sedan this servo is for a buggy tho.

For 1/10 Ep - KO 2343
For 1/10GP,1/8Buggy - KO 2344

i personally use Airtronics 94257 old school servos...ive had the two i own for the past 5-6 years and they have never let me down yet and i race quite often...same gears and everything:)

I'm very happy with my KO PDS 2123.

Personally, I find that a steering servo cant be too fast :cool:

So I'll recommend you get the best you can afford. If you go with good brands like KO, Fut, JR or Air, you'll probably have it for many years.

Analog servos can be as fast and strong as digital ones. If I had to choose between a slow digital and a fast analog, I would go analog. Ultimately, get a digital one, if budget allows it. Digital ones have better resolution and way more holding power. They are also stronger around the center, than analog ones are.

For EP cars, there's no need of programmable servos.

So if the 8450 is discontined, does anyone know what JR is going to replace it with?

I am looking for another sterring servo for my 1/10 touring car a TC3.

I really like JR and would like to stick with them and digital.
