My Xr2 started playing up so I switched to a kyosho perfex and an xpress mini reciever I had in my pit bag. I bought it a while back for a 1/24th scale and only used it maybe 3 times(didn't really give it the time of day). It has got to be the most comfortable Tx's I've held. It looks amature, but works and feels great.
If your lhs does not carry all the brand that you want to try, just go to the track and ask a racer nicely this, " Can I hold your equipment to see if it feels good in my hand???"

I'd have to say M8!

My old XS3 felt "cheap". It was too light and the display wasn't very detailed.
