Final Drive Ratio for an Xray t2008

I will be racing my t2008 in the 17.5 rubber class for the first time this weekend and was wondering what a good starting point for my FDR would be. Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Hey, going to need a LOT more info than that man. Track size, esc, esc timing profiles, track layout (flowing or technical) etc. I run a tekin RS, timing of 50 /10, 0 on motor timing, 100 x 60 track, pretty flowing, and I ran between 5.8 and 6.4 depending on the heat and timing settings. If you have a sphere tc or something with less dynamic timing you will be running closer to the 4.0 range. But if you can afford it the tekins are pretty amazing if you don't already have one.

Just picked up the castle mamba max pro. I have the timing set at 26 betweem 3800 and 7800 rpm just for starters. Track is technical with a pretty decent straight. Just looking for a good starting point. thanks for the reply
