Tamiya mini m03 help.
 

Ok, now don't laugh..
I have just sold my Losi mini-t fully alloy with brushless system..
Went about 25mph..
Now, this maybe where you all giggle..
I have just bought a Tamiya mini m03 chassis (stock) with msc not esc.
I have a limited budget, about £150..
My question is, can i get it running faster than my mates 1/16 vxl brushless (stock)..?
I would be grateful of some sugestions and ideas to do this, as he seems to think its going to be goin at snail pace, which it probably will.. :(
