Default Keyence Question

Hey all -

I traded some parts to a friend for a Keyence A-04 ESC. It wasn't a trade to GET the ESC but to get my friend the parts he needed, mostly a speed control that was a one-touch.

My problem is that I can't find any documentation on this thing, no setup, no nothing!

Any help available?

Yes, the one touch should work that way.

I am also looking to find the other settings/profiles - there are quite a number and I don't know what they are!

Three buttons - up arrow, like a mode button, down arrow (actually left and right arrows. . .)

Anyone use this ESC? Anyone with any ideas?

Boomer...dont know if it works the same as my Zero V Extreme but if it does...

Scroll through avail options using Left or Right. When you get to something you want to change, press the Left and Right buttons at the same time. Adjust values using the trigger on the transmitter...pull +, brake -. Scroll through submenus using the left or right buttons. When done, press left and right at the same time to return to the main menu.

On mine, when you turn the power on, from the first screen that appears you can access the submenu to set the radio up. Press L and R together and Set appears...press and hold the center button for 4 secs and you can set neutral, high throttle and max brake....

If any of this sounds right let me know and I can walk through more of it...

How do you like your Zero V Extreme? I have my choice narrowed down to either that or the KO VFS-2000.

It sounds like it may be close to the same, but you have a little LED readout screen - I don't.

AGR#7...I only have one race day on it, but so far it's awesome. The initial setup instructions take a little bit of head-scratching, but once you get it figured out its easy. I don't know if its coincidence or not, but racing Saturday my lap times were down about 0.5 sec average, enough to get me close to the track record, and the only real change I made to my car was installing the new speedo...

So I'd vote for the Keyence myself....my .02

Mark

Boomer...Ah, I could see where not having the LED would make things much more difficult to interpret. You may want to contact Schumacher and see if they can provide setup info....they are the US distributer....

You can order a manual from keyence forget the web site but they do other things to so you might have to look a bit when you get to there web site. Another good idea would be to put the trash can about 5 feet away and play some speedcontrol ball jk
But try there web site and they will send you one for free or charge you shipping.
