The track is about 200ft x 35ft. I understand your point about maybe using 13.5...but I wanted to try this 17.5 first and see what temps I would get with the proposed gearing/rollout.

this 10r5 is amazing. i was the only WGT yesterday and just threw mein with touring car 13.5. i was giving them fits. i ended up TQ against them and second place in the main. had a few newbs get me spun out. the touring car is much faster down the strait, but man does that 10r5 have corner speed. i could pull away in the infield to get reeled in on the strait. best of all, MY CAR DOESNT BREAK EVERYTIME I HIT SOMETHING! we woudl start out with 6 in the heat and end up with 2 or 3 finishing. needles to say there are several drivers saying they are wanting to get one. speed is nothing without control.
