Hi, I just picked up one of these conversions and it comes with the adjustable upper links front and rear. Does anyone have some better pics to show me how it goes together? The kit instructions don't show anything for the adj. uppers.

Thanks,

Andy

Hello i'am build my Xevo as well.
But i have problem my shocks, the M03 shocks are to short.
I have the TRF m- chassis shocks #54000.
Wat for shocks do you mount on the Xevo?
Tamiya part 42102? I prefer a Tamiya part.

Thanks for helping me with this problem.

Is it the front or the rear?

I use the standard length tamiya shock
I put two o-ring inside the shock for droop setting.
The front is full length(like you build a seden shock)
Hope this information will help you

Got one of these little guys on the way, just wondering about the shocks, M chassis ones? or standard length touring car style? Gotta pick up a few other goodies first though.

And as far as the rest of the car goes, would I be better off buying another M-03/M-05 kit, or buy everything as I need? I plan on keeping my M-03 mini for racing as well. I'd like to put the Blue Alu steering knuckles and rear uprights on, are they standard in the M-05 Pro kit?

just got one of these buggers... they're fun to drive. we run on 13.5BL and lipo back here...

some stuff i noticed with the build:
1. for the front, the short mini shocks are fine even with short springs. need to shim it internally to lessen the droop though.

2. for the rear, short shocks (like the TRF or 3Racing ones for mini), are too short. Will try running a stock TC-length rear piston rod and standard length TC springs to gain some droop at the rear

Wish Team Xevo could come out with some L-shaped front body posts so that we can use the stock mounting holes on the body and don't have to drill new ones

Now that is sweet! I am strongly thinking on picking one of these up even though I don't run mini any longer. I would like to see some sort of lexan cover around the gears though to help keep the dust out. We get a fair amount of black dust on our asphalt track.
