Default XXX-S droop setings?

I recently got a Losi XXX-S second hand and I'm trying to get the car setup for our local carpet track. I'm trying to set the droop settings but I'm not sure where to take the measurements from. I'm going to start with Andrew Gray's setup from the Losi site. On the setup sheet it says he uses droop settings of 1 front and 3 rear. I am asuming these are positive droop settings in mm? Would this be the measurement from the bottom of the chasis to the center of the axle or from the chasis to the bottom of the suspension arm?

Any help on how to set the droop settings on this car would be appreciated..

Thanks,
Rob

The measurement is taken at the bottom of the hub carrier.

I've lately been setting droop a different way. I back the droop screws out, then set the ride height using the spring collars. Once the ride height is set I turn in the droop screws until there's no play in the spring. Then I use the droop gauge to make a final adjustment to get the setting the same on each side.

Ok, thanks. So if I want to set the droop according to that setup sheet, I would set bottom of the front carriers 1mm above the bottom of the chassis and the rear carriers 3mm above the chassis?

I'm confused if the settings are above or below the bottom of the chassis....

Above the chassis.
