I had been asking and asking about the venue from everybody I know since Vegas in Sept, and got nowhere.

To be honest it's a bit pointless me trying to plan and organize a trip accross the pond at such short notice if the venue hasn't been decided yet....

If you made the top-10 at the Reedy Race Invitational class last year, you are on the Invitational list this year.

I also mentioned that there is an alternate list. I don't expect a full field of 32 from the posted list so even though someone is not on the list doesn't mean they won't be invited to race the Invitational class.

As for the venue and dates, we should have info by the end of next week. I apologize for the late information but we are trying to put on the best race possible and it takes a little extra time.

my guess.. and this guess is no way backed by organizers of Reedy. but if the race will be held in Southern California....

John Wayne Airport in Orange County is good to fly into if its at the Tamiya Track. if its at West Coast R/C Raceway... ditto. Ontario is a bit farther east of both locations but might be cheaper to fly into.

LAX is the last resort for BOTH tracks... again, more expensive and the most busy out of the 3 airports mentioned. Traffic will suck trying to get to both tracks (405 south for the Tamiya track.... 105 east for West Coast).

Burbank airport is not worth a mention since you would have to drive through downtown l.a. to reach both. Long Beach more than likely doesnt service big international flights.

Sweet, I should have signed up for the Roar asphalt nats, not went, and I would have got tenth and been on the invite list for 2010 . Not attend the 09 Reedy race and try to race for a spot like a sucker .
