Default LIPO's on 10th scale Touring?

I have not found any good results, with pics, specs and brands used in Lipo cells test on 10th scale cars.

I have seen someone where state that they are bringing in 12,000mah cells.....huh?

So...i would like to run some tests on using some lipos in my T1R, equiped with a LRP F1 Pro Reverse (no motor limit) ESC, TO RUSH 11X2 motor.

I am thinking about running a 3800mah pack, 2s2p (1900mah) or something close to that...

THis will give me 7.4v, and the extra mah needed for the longer runtimes.

WHO OUT HERE HAS USED OR IS USING LIPO CELLS IN THEIR CARS? I would like to talk with you.

Thank you

Once the price comes down to a consumer friendly level & the mod motors evolve to withstand more, Lipo would be more popular

wow...that site does not have ANYTHING in stock.

Now...why do you run 8000mah packs when the reg. SC batteries are only 3300?

yes...but there are tons of companies who carry lipos....but anyway...

Ok...so in your experience, would a 3XXXmah pack provide about the same runime as reg. 3000/3300mah NiMH SC cells? I just want to make sure the runtimes compared to MAH in NiMH and Lipos are about the same before i go pull the tigger on a pack...Money burning in my pocket!!!

Thank you

I've used these packs with the Novak bl system. I can get 25 - 30 minutes...but I normally stop after 10 minutes to take a break lol.

I don't use the packs for stock racing though...I use gp3300 NIMH cells for that.

great....that is what i was looking for. Granted you are running the novak brushless motor/esc...which will yield you longer runtimes....

I am running the RUSH 11X2 motor....so I think my runtimes might be a bit under.

I am just looking for some good long runtime bashing (practice) packs.

Thank you
