Default new guy - hello all

I used to have a rc10 back in the day and am looking to get a car/truck again.
I have been seriously considering a Traxxas Rustler VXL w/2.4 gHz.
I would appreciate all comments on this truck or other options. Just looking to bash with the kids - but quickly.
I would also like comments on why the decision and what accesories to consider.
Thank you in advance!

Welcome to rctech. Like you I just got back into the hobby (a few months ago) after racing a Falcon and RC10 almost 20 years ago. You will be able to get a lot of good information here but for your question you might have more luck over at the Electric Off-Road subforum.
