When I switched to the CEFX body (right after Cleveland), I didn't like it right away. It felt too twitchy. But the more I used it, the more I like it. I had to change the setup in my car a little, but I am faster with the CEFX body. I do carry a Speed 8 body just in case, but I have not had to use it. I ran the CEFX at the January Jam Triple Crown race and got 3rd in the A. I know the body helped. I am going to be running it at Snowbirds as well, so we shall see how it handles at real high speeds.

Default Snowbird Updates

Anyone not attending the SnowBird's might want to check out the live updates on TEAMCRC.com. I know there will be a thread on here, but feel free to cruise over to the CRC sight and check out the 'Birds from a different point of view......

It's very cool that there are live feeds for the race, I was actually thinking about flying back just to watch since I didn't think about getting in until it was too late..

I got one in trade for some painting for a sponsored driver. They should be in shops soon. The one I got was retail bagged and carded.

Word of warning abotu the PF Bentley Speed 12...

You WILL have to redo your batteries and electronics. I have a Trinity Reflex 12 (lowest car on earth...actually too low!) and I had to andgle my batt solder tabs in 45deg. When vertical with a wire soldered on it would push the body up. The lower body line was 1/4" above the top of the chassis!

I re-did the batts and lowered my rear body level clip 2 holes lower than for my Trinity/Reference Bentley 8 and it was perfect. The nicest side effect of the body is that I probably no longer need to tape my batts in!

That is SWEET that the body sits that low, lol. Chris T actually solders the power wire directly onto the cell, I'll propably do the same with how low the current bodies sit.

95 divide by 21 = 4.5238

96 divide by 4.5238 = 21.22

Use 21 or 22 pinion at 64 pitch.

What you are trying to match is the RATIO between the SPUR and the PINION.

95 SPUR and 21 PINION has a ratio of 4.5238

You know that the new SPUR is 96 so 96 divide by 4.5328 is
21.22

Idealy you should now use a 21.22 pinion but it is not available so use the nearest whole number ( 21 or 22 )
