2004 On Road Worlds Warm Up & Worlds At Full Throttle Speedway
#106

I know the track is full length 220 or so for gas racing. I know they are gonna shorten it. Hopefully Jorge will post some more track info. Either way I'll be there to practice a lot.
Got my packet from ROAR today....... nothing like a $300 entry fee for one class.

Yeah- only $300

The Worlds are going to be held during hurricane season here in Florida and it rains hard everyday, sometimes it doesnt stop for days.... Maybe they will put up a huge circus tent over the whole track.LOL

Hey guy’s thanks for everyone’s help big thanks to Adrian. I’ve been so busy that I haven't been able to post too much on the Internet. A lot of guys want to know the track measurements. Here they are. The electric track is 500ft center travel lane. The track will be sprayed with sugar water for the events. The fastest lap time for 19t spec class that was run on Sept 28 2003 was 12.8 set by Shad Galante and Billy Bruce (Mr. RPM). These guys ran 23 laps in 5:01.92 and 5:05.06 in the A main. The track is different than what you guys are use too (some). But the lay out is fun I think. The lanes are 15ft wide and yes dots will be used but this is racing I like to see high speeds. I’m spoiled with the gas but I think the mod class will be something to see. Guys I will post everything on our web site or have Adrian help do it as it's made available to me by roar and Ifmar. I hope this helps everyone. Thanks again for everyones support. I will try to make this worlds something special. Saving a little for the big show.
Like Adrian said we have some really big guns coming to the pre-worlds.
Thank

Jorge,
Thanks for the info. I was wondering how big the actual track will be. 150 x 75? Not sure if you know how long the straight will end up being. Anything will help.
I talked with you about a month ago, I worked for Fantom and talked about joing the club when I moved down. I can't find your cell number. I will have to email you again. Thanks.

Hey guys the im horrible at estimating but the track is roughly at max 100 x 100.
Adrian The stage one report is due on April 30th but the Grants told us to hold off until we finish the preworlds.
KMW the straight for the preworlds is about 100 ft. We havent really looked at what its going to be for the worlds but it wont be anything rediculous.
